There’s No Better Time Than Brunch
Brunch… a late morning meal that’s usually paired with an adult beverage and never… ever disappoints. There’s really never a moment of the day when brunch sounds like a bad idea. St. Petersburg knows how to do brunch. Our love affair with Beach Drive comes alive every weekend around 11. Let’s be honest for a moment… 11 is key… especially on a Sunday. 11 is when you can order your brunch and have your mimosa too! Whether you’re new to St. Petersburg or you’ve lived here your whole life, you should know that there’s a lot happening in the brunch arena. So, prepare your taste buds and then read on!
Birch & Vine: Saturday & Sunday 10am-4pm
Birch and Vine offers brunch favorites like house made monkey bread served with a view of Beach Drive. You might be tempted to throw manners to the wind and lick your plate after indulging in the house made biscuits and chorizo gravy. If you prefer your brunch to be closer to lunch there’s the braised pork belly cuban or the Niman Ranch breakfast burger. The menu alone makes this restaurant an excellent selection for your next brunch!
Cassis American Brasserie: Every Day until 3pm
Cassis understands that some of us aren’t ready to end the weekend on a Sunday! Cassis offers brunch all week long but you can indulge nearly all day long Saturday through Monday. The mouthwatering brunch menu includes unique items like pancakes with roasted apples, walnuts, cream cheese icing, and cinnamon sugar. There’s also a jumbo lump crab cake benedict or a meat lovers omelet.
For those who enjoy a boozy brunch you can enjoy $20 bottles of bubbly in the bar along with oyster specials on Sundays.
Red Mesa Cantina: Saturday & Sunday 11am-3pm
Red Mesa Cantina puts a Mexican spin on traditional brunch. Start off with a Mexican hot chocolate or a mocha cafe for an extra caffeine boost and then dive in to the Breakfast El Gordo. Yep, it’s brunch all wrapped up in a burrito. There’s scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes and more inside a giant flour tortilla. If that sounds too indulgent you can opt for some sweet potato pancakes or go the traditional route with the Americano. Check out the full brunch menu.
Noble Crust: Saturdays & Sundays 10:30am-2:30pm
Escape the hustle and bustle of downtown St. Petersburg and opt for the upscale atmosphere of Noble Crust. You’ve got to dive right in and go for the fried chicken and waffles! Who could say no when you’re talking about some pecan butter. Noble Crust stays true to its promise for Southern Soul and Seasonal Italian when it comes to brunch. There’s a chicken fried chicken parm that will have you begging for more. And their Short Rib Benny is another popular favorite that we can attest is fantastic. The artful presentation of each plate is as beautiful as it is delicious!
