It’s time for my favorite thing and yours – Bad MLS Photos! This week’s collection is brought to you by the number 1. As in – all these listings are priced at $1 Million plus. Can you believe it? Do these look like photos of a Million Dollar Listing in Tampa Bay? Why in the heck do agents with a $1M plus listing not spend a few hundred dollars for a professional photographer? It boggles my mind.
Okay, one thing that is a huge pet peeve of mine is cars in the driveway. I don’t care if you have a BMW or a Mercedes, unless it comes with the house, kindly ask the owner to remove the cars for the shot. Just a thought.
Check out our gawdy chandelier? Ummm….?
Beautiful wood banister? What is this supposed to be? Hi kitty! Maybe the Realtor just likes cats a lot…
2005? Okay either your camera settings need to be changed, or you need to seriously update your photos – its 2012! (By the number of days on market for this listing, I’d say the photo really was taken in 2005.)
I think I see granite. Maybe even stainless. A flash would help! Even if you take your own photos (which you should not, for a $1M listing!) a good flash for a digital SLR camera is only about $300. You gotta spend money to make money!
I think they were trying to show off the water view here. There’s a much better way to do that than showing a closed slider window with a dark view of water in the background.
The front door works, I guess. What is this a photo of? How do some of these agents manage to land million dollar listings with pictures like these in their repertoire? Seriously?
