Welcome to another installment of my Bad MLS Photos series. I’m getting a lot of comments from my readers that you guys love to giggle at these so I’ll keep them coming.
Some luxury home magazines will tell you that the new way to market a property is to hire a gorgeous model seated on the couch in your luxury living room to sell the home. That’s not what I’m talking about here. Today’s photos come to you from a Foreclosure listing wherein there are still people living in the home. Apparently the agent couldn’t be bothered to ask the kids to walk into another room for two minutes while he took the photos. One again – a picture is worth a thousand words! Come on Realtors, you can do better.
If an agent doesn’t have the guts to speak up and ask you to remove yourself from a photo (never mind remove junk off countertops, etc.) how is that agent going to be when it comes time to speak up and negotiate the best price for your home? Just a thought. I value how my client’s home looks online whether it is priced at $100,000 or $1,000,000.

WOW!!!Did the home sale?

Eventually it sold, but probably for less than it should have because it looked so awful in the pictures – people then feel they can lowball.
